Ramallah – Thursday, 22/01/2026 – The Palestinian National Commission for Education, Culture and Science has announced the extension of the application period for program and project proposals to be supported and funded by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) until the end of January 2026. Project proposals must align with national priorities and with UNESCO’s priorities as outlined in the following document:

In its announcement, the Commission clarified that eligible applicants include governmental institutions, academic and research institutions, and civil society organizations.

Institutions wishing to apply are required to complete the official application form in English and include a detailed explanation of the estimated budget within the form, ensuring that the total project cost does not exceed USD 26,000. Applicants must comply with the stated eligibility and submission conditions and submit their proposals to the National Commission no later than Sunday, 31/01/2026.
