Ramallah – Monday, 26/01/2026 – H.E. Prof. Ali Zaidan Abu Zuhri, Member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization and President of the Palestinian National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, received H.E. Ambassador Habib Ben Farah, Ambassador of the Tunisia to the State of Palestine, in the presence of H.E. Dr. Jihad Ramadan, Secretary-General of the Commission.

During the meeting, discussions focused on a range of shared Arab issues related to the mandate of the National Commission, particularly in the sectors of education, culture, and science. Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation and coordinating positions between the State of Palestine and the Republic of Tunisia in regional and international forums.

Prof. Abu Zuhri commended Tunisia’s consistent and unwavering support for the Palestinian national cause at the local, regional, and international levels, praising the collective Arab role in supporting Palestinian efforts to safeguard the heritage and national identity of the Palestinian people in international, Arab, and Islamic platforms.

For his part, Ambassador Ben Farah reaffirmed his country’s commitment to continuing its support for Palestine and its just causes, and to enhancing frameworks of cooperation with the Palestinian National Commission for Education, Culture and Science in a manner that serves mutual interests and strengthens joint Arab action.
