Minister of Culture Imad Hamdan received Dr. Jihad Ramadan, Secretary-General of the Palestinian National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, at his office, where they discussed enhancing joint cooperation across various cultural fields. The meeting emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts among cultural institutions to strengthen cultural infrastructure, build bridges of cultural exchange between Palestine and the world, and align collaborative work within specialized international organizations.

Minister Hamdan underscored the importance of unifying national efforts, particularly in light of the current circumstances, especially with regard to empowering cultural institutions and centers to benefit from the programs and initiatives of international, Arab, and Islamic organizations. He commended the pivotal role played by the National Commission at both the local and international levels in representing Palestine within regional and international organizations.

For his part, Dr. Ramadan reviewed the key files and initiatives the Commission is currently pursuing with the three international organizations, stressing the importance of collective and participatory work. He highlighted the need to further develop cultural and educational programs that safeguard national identity and advance the Palestinian people in a manner that responds effectively to the current situation in Palestine.
